Kew Fields
My Horizons series is a group of paintings done intuitively with only a horizon in mind and no plan. The resulting works have reminded me of peaceful natural landscapes that bring a sense of both contentment and joy.
If you've ever been to Kew Gardens you know that there are places within which can feel completely removed from the city life. I was struck by the feeling of escape that came with sitting in the fields and this painting encapsulates that emotion.
