The only landscape oriented work of the series, this piece is also one I started in Kalymnos. One day we were sitting on the beach at sunset and I saw, pinks, oranges and greens reflected in the waves. The view showed us many other mountainous islands stretching into the distance. Our walk to and from the beach each day took us past gorgeous pergolas covered in overflowing pink flowers. The light coloured structures beautifully dotted the coast line and hills on each of the islands. The work brings feelings of expansiveness, warmth, comfort, and tranquility.
